11:00 AM - 12:00 noon Email, MX Records, and SendMail
Building on the knowledge that was obtained in the first session, we'll look at how MX records and their corresponding PTR records need to be configured for popular email servers like SendMail with anti-spam features. Hosted by IOA President Lynn Taylor

All Sessions Held in Room S101

9:00 AM - 10:30 AM Wireless IP
A discussion of wireless IP and how to implement it using the IPAD as the wireless gateway. Joining us will be John Anderson, an IOA Member from Clear Channel Communications.
11:00 AM - 12:00 noon Subnets, Private IPs, and Firewalls
A close look at how to divide your IP addresses into subnets using CIDR, and how to use private (non-routable) IP address space to control data flow (firewalling).
1:30 PM - 2:45 PM IPAD Hardware
Now that the IPAD exists only as software for future licenses, you'll need the information from this session to make intelligent decisions on building new IPAD's for you and your customers. Led by Mike Shartiag, builder of the now-famous ill-named MAXIPAD, we'll find out what works, what doesn't, and what hardware-related challenges arise now that NIWOTs and XEM's are no longer available. Hosted by IOA Secretary/Treasurer Michael Shartiag.
3:15 PM - 4:30 PM DLEC: New player in an old game
What exactly is a DLEC? We'll examine the age old question of How do I provision circuits at a fair price? Whether you're an ISP or an IPAD end-user, you'll appreciate this talk on the terminology and procedures of circuit-provisioning, so you can keep the telcos from eating your lunch. Hosted by IOA Executive VP Scott Dart.
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wrap-Up / Open Mic
What didn't we cover at IPADCON? Need a little more information on anything you've heard? This session allows us to come back to anything that needs to be revisited.
